What is FX trading?

The Forex market is a global market where currencies are traded. It actually determines the exchange rates of currencies around the world, and those who participate in Forex trading can buy, sell, exchange or forecast with intended investment currency pairs such as EUR/USD or GBP/USD or any currency they believe they can ultimately make a profit on.

Trading Volume

As far as trading volume is concerned, the Forex market is by far the largest financial market in the world, with over $5 trillion traded daily. Trade CFDs on a number of Forex pairs and profit from low spreads, fast order execution, trading volume and liquidity; EUR/USD, USD/JPY and GBP/USD are the most popular and liquid of the major currency pairs.

Currency Pairs

Since currencies are always traded in pairs, the value of each currency is interrelated to the value of the other. The primary function of the foreign exchange (FX) market is to establish the relationship between how much of one country's currency another country can buy and whether a contract can be concluded between a buyer and a seller, on the condition that the latter would pay the price difference at the time the contract is executed.

Forex Market Hours

In the Forex market, traders can trade currencies 24 hours a day, 5 days a week, except on weekends. By taking advantage of this privilege, when trading in one market is over, another market maintains trading while increasing what is called liquidity, which is considered in each currency market.
